Cleanup at Sandy's Row Synagogue - contents of some boxes

This afternoon Rose and Evan did a major clean up in the synagogue hall.
Before cleaning out and vacuuming the boxes with the new vacuum cleaner (half price at the Comet sale), the contents were photographed:

Old odd pages of siddurim and crumpled mouse eaten newspapers....the religious material was taken and put separately in a bag.

We had no idea what these were - they are coloured balls of paper paste, and look for all the world like tree decorations. What do you think they may be?

Old electrical stuff and builder's rubbish

This box had an old lampshade, and three delicate vases made of carnival glass - they could be 1960s or circe 1910....

Builder's rubbish....

An old velvet cloth - to add to the collection we have stored in the basement.

Tesco crockery circa?
